Old English flocc, of unknown origin. The original sense was ‘a band or body of people’.
​
The essence of 'Flock' is human connection. We all want to be happy, we all wish that those we love be well and come to no harm.
​
This exciting and beautiful project has supported women from across Calderdale through the trials and difficulties of 2020 through flood, pandemic, lockdowns and the rises and falls of daily life.
​
We will continue to meet until summer 2022, to share and explore what makes us human through mindfulness, movement, poetry and visual arts: Celebrating what makes us different and discovering what we have in common.

The workshops are free and are a safe space for anyone who wants to connect with their innate creativity and other human beings.

Be Here Now
Be Here Now is a weekly creative arts group which combines a gentle mix of dancing, painting, poetry, song and conversation.
Everyone is invited to join in and no prior creative skills are needed. We are a welcoming, friendly group, and we love to try new things.
